Well I am finally getting back to near normal. The first couple of months of 2011 were spent being very sick and in multiple Doctors offices trying to figure out what was wrong. Eventually I had to visit the Mayo Clinic to find out what was wrong with me, although we may never know what caused it. Long story short my recovery period is a long road but I am feeling better each day and am itching to start photographing again. The creative juices had to take a back seat for about three months and are starting rise to the surface once again I am looking forward to creating new images again so stay tuned.
About the photograph with this post, several years ago while living on the big island of Hawaii some friends were visiting from the mainland. The four of us were down in Wapio Valley when our wives found this old boot and pointed it out. I feel like the last three months I have been like this old boot......covered in moss! Well it is time to shed the moss and be more like a rolling stone.
